Getting everyone together is the hard part. We make everything else easy.
From wardrobe planning to professional hair and makeup, your family’s session is thoughtfully taken care of from beginning to end. We’ll help coordinate everyone’s clothing, and the women are welcome to incorporate pieces from our studio wardrobe into their looks.
Once you’re here, we’ll guide every grouping, pose and expression, so no one needs to know what to do in front of the camera.
All you need to do is get your favorite people through the door. We’ll take it from there.

THE PROCESS
This is going to be easier, and a lot more fun,
than you think.
Forget worrying about what to wear, how to pose, or whether you’re “photogenic.” We’ll guide you through every detail, so all you have to do is show up and enjoy yourself.
Step One
Consultation
It begins with a relaxed phone consultation where we’ll talk about who you’d like photographed, the combinations that matter to you, and what everyone should wear. We’ll help coordinate wardrobe without making everyone look overly matched and plan the session around your family.
Whether you’re bringing three people or three generations, you don’t need to figure it all out yourself.
Step Two
Photoshoot Day
Your session begins with professional hair and makeup, followed by finalizing everyone’s wardrobe together. Bring your own favorites, borrow from our studio wardrobe, or mix the two, we’ll style everything so it works beautifully together.
Then it’s time to be photographed. We’ll guide everyone through posing and expression while creating a variety of portraits, the whole family, individual families, generations, siblings, couples and all the relationships in between.
It’s relaxed, completely guided and a lot more fun than most families expect.
Step Three
Portrait Reveal
This is when it all comes together.
We’ll meet at the studio or over Zoom to see your portraits for the first time. Together, we’ll go through the images, choose the ones you love most, and create a collection that celebrates your family, from everyone together to the smaller relationships and moments you’ll want to remember.
I’ll guide you through your choices and help you select the portraits and artwork that feel right for your family and your home.
The hardest part might simply be choosing your favorites.
Step Four
Order Delivery
These are more than photographs for right now.
Your chosen portraits will be carefully retouched and beautifully finished, with high-resolution digital images as well as any heirloom artwork you’ve selected.
From portraits displayed in your home to a collection you can hold in your hands, everything is created to be enjoyed now and treasured long after.

FAQ's
We’re awkward in front of the camera.
That’s completely fine. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do. I’ll guide everyone through the entire session, right down to where to stand, where to look and what to do with your hands.
What should we wear?
We’ll plan your wardrobe together so everyone coordinates without looking overly matched. Women are also welcome to borrow from my studio wardrobe. Some families bring lots of options, others keep it simple, we’ll figure out what works best for yours.
Is hair and makeup included?
Professional hair and makeup for one person is included in your session fee. Additional hair and makeup applications are $150 each, so everyone who’d like to be styled can be.
Can you photograph a large family?
Absolutely. My studio was designed with enough space for large and multi-generational families. We’ll photograph the entire family together as well as smaller groupings and individual portraits.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
They don’t need to be perfect. I don’t expect kids to sit still and smile on command for an entire session. We’ll work with their personalities and give them breaks when they need them.
How long does it take?
Plan on approximately 2–3 hours, including hair and makeup. The actual photography time depends on the size of your family and how many different groupings we’re creating.
Who can we include?
Whoever makes up your family. Children, adult children, grandparents, partners, and pets are always welcome too. These sessions can be as simple as your immediate family or include several generations.
When do we see our portraits?
About two weeks after your session, you’ll come back to the studio for your ordering appointment or we can meet online via Zoom. You’ll see your best portraits and choose the ones you love. You only buy what you want.
How much does it cost?
The session fee is $210 plus tax and includes your consultation, wardrobe planning, hair and makeup for one person, the photoshoot, and your ordering appointment. Additional hair and makeup applications are $150 each. Packages start at $1000, and payment plans are available.
Will our photos be posted online?
Only with your permission. If you’d prefer to keep your family portraits private, they stay private.
