THE PROCESS
This is going to be easier, and a lot more fun,
than you think.
Forget worrying about what to wear, how to pose, or whether you’re “photogenic.” We’ll guide you through every detail, so all you have to do is show up and enjoy yourself.
Step One
Consultation
During a relaxed phone consultation, we’ll talk about your business, where your images will be used, and how you want to be seen. From wardrobe and styling to backgrounds and the overall feel of your portraits, I’ll guide you through the options and design a session that fits both you and your brand.
You don’t need to arrive with a creative brief or know exactly what you want, that’s what the consultation is for.
Step Two
Photoshoot Day
Professional doesn’t have to mean predictable.
We’ll finalize your wardrobe, choose the backgrounds and sets that best complement your brand, and create a variety of looks throughout your session. Professional hair and makeup can ensure you’re polished and camera-ready before we begin.
Once you're in front of the camera, I’ll guide you through every pose, expression and detail. No awkward corporate headshots and no wondering what to do with your hands. The experience is relaxed, efficient and completely guided.
Step Three
Portrait Reveal
Now we choose the images that represent you best.
We’ll meet over Zoom for your private reveal and go through your portraits together. I’ll help you select a versatile collection of images for the places your business shows up, your website, social media, marketing, speaking engagements, publications and beyond.
The goal is more than one great headshot. It’s a library of strong, cohesive imagery you can actually use.
Step Four
Order Delivery
Your selected portraits will be professionally retouched and delivered as high-resolution digital files, ready for both web and print use.
You’ll walk away with a polished collection of imagery that feels like you on your very best day, confident, current and aligned with the business you’ve built.

I hate having my photo taken.
You’re in good company. Most of my clients aren’t comfortable in front of the camera. I’ll guide you through every pose and expression so you look confident, natural and approachable, without feeling stiff or overly posed.
I don’t know what to wear.
We’ll plan your wardrobe together before your session. I’ll help you choose pieces that photograph beautifully, complement your brand and give you plenty of variety. You’re welcome to bring lots of options and we’ll make the final selections together.
Do I need to know what kind of photos I want?
Not at all. During your consultation, we’ll talk about your business and how you’ll use your images. From there, I’ll help design the looks, backgrounds and overall direction of your session.
Is this just for headshots?
No. We can create everything from polished headshots to more relaxed portraits, full-length images and personal branding content. The goal is to give you a versatile collection rather than one photograph you have to use everywhere.
Can you photograph my team?
Absolutely. Sessions can be designed for individuals, small teams or larger groups, with a consistent look that keeps your brand cohesive.
Do you photograph men?
Absolutely. Business portrait sessions are for everyone. Whether you need a polished headshot, a more relaxed professional portrait, or a full collection of personal branding images, your session will be tailored to you, your personality and your business.
How long does it take?
That depends on the type of session and how many looks or people we’re photographing. We’ll go over timing during your consultation so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
When do I see my portraits?
About 2 weeks after your session, we’ll meet over Zoom for your private reveal. You’ll see your best images, choose your favorites and build the collection that works best for your business.
How much does it cost?
The session fee is $210 plus tax and includes hair and makeup for one person, the photoshoot and your ordering appointment. Packages start at $500 and payment plans are available.
Will my photos be posted online?
Only with your permission. If you'd prefer to keep them private, they stay private.
Can I use the images for my business?
Yes. Your purchased business portraits include usage appropriate for your website, social media and your own business marketing. If you need images for advertising, publication or another specific commercial use, just let us know.
