THE PROCESS
This is going to be easier, and a lot more fun,
than you think.
Forget worrying about what to wear, how to pose, or whether you’re “photogenic.” We’ll guide you through every detail, so all you have to do is show up and enjoy yourself.
Step One
Consultation
It all starts with a relaxed phone conversation. We'll talk about what you'd love to create, explore wardrobe and styling ideas, and plan a session that's completely personal to you. Don't have any ideas yet? That's perfectly fine. I'll help you discover the possibilities.
Step Two
Photoshoot Day
This is where the fun begins! We'll choose your five outfits together, whether you've brought a suitcase full of options or plan to explore our studio wardrobe. After professional hair and makeup, we'll create a variety of beautiful looks. I'll guide you through every pose and expression, so there's nothing to figure out. Just a little pampering, a lot of fun, and some incredible portraits.
Step Three
Portrait Reveal
About two weeks after your session, we'll meet in the studio or over Zoom for your portrait reveal. You'll see your finished images for the first time, choose the ones you love, and explore beautiful ways to enjoy them. There's no pressure to purchase anything you don't absolutely love.
Step Four
Order Delivery
Your favourite portraits are carefully retouched and beautifully finished, ready to become part of your home and your story. Whether you've chosen fine art prints, wall portraits, or a collection of images, you'll have something beautiful to enjoy for years to come.

FAQ's
I don't know how to pose.
You don't need to. I'll show you every pose, down to where
your chin goes.
I'm not photogenic.
Almost every client tells me that. Being photogenic isn't something that you're born with. It comes from feeling comfortable, good light, good posing, and someone bringing out the best in you. That part is my job.
Should I wait until I lose weight?
Please don't. The people who love you want photos of you as you are now. Waiting usually means it never happens. Plus, I'm an expert at posing curvy bodies for the most flattering portraits.
What do I wear?
We'll plan it together. If you'd rather not worry about it you are welcome to borrow from our extensive studio wardrobe.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes, a friend, daughter, partner or pet is welcome to come along. If you'd like them in a few photos, tell me ahead of time.
How long does it take?
About 2.5 hours including hair and makeup.
When do I see my portraits?
About 2 weeks after your session, you'll either come back to the studio for a guided ordering appointment or we can meet online via zoom. You'll see your best portraits and choose the ones you love. You only buy what you want.
How much does it cost?
The session fee is $210 plus tax and includes hair and makeup, the photoshoot and your ordering appointment. Packages start at $1000 and payment plans are available.
Will my photos be posted online?
Only with your permission. If you'd prefer to keep them private, they stay private.
Will a before photo be taken of me?
No, not unless you are participating in on of our before & after events.
